Why wholesale road bikes through us

A supplier built around how shops actually run.

Built to relevant standards

Every road bike we supply is built to meet EN 14781 (racing bicycles) and EN 14764 (general-use) for the EU, CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512 for the US, and AS/NZS 1927 for AU/NZ. Documentation supplied for your records and your market's customs.

Margin that respects your shelf

Direct-from-manufacturer wholesale pricing without an extra import layer eating your margin. Tier pricing improves as volume grows.

Private label available

Build your shop's own road bike line. Private-label runs available from [100 units per model], with [3–4 weeks to first sample].

Freight handled honestly

International bike freight isn't cheap and we won't pretend it is. We quote freight transparently per shipment so you know your real landed cost before you commit.

Build your shop’s own road bike line

Your name on the down tube.

A private-label road bike line lifts your whole shop’s brand — it signals you’re more than a reseller, and gives customers a flagship product they can’t price-compare against the big sites. We handle frame, build, and quality; you get a bike that arrives ready to badge and sell. Private-label road bikes available from [100 units per model], with [3–4 weeks to first sample] and [12–16 weeks from sample approval].

Honest note: road bike MOQs run higher than accessories because frame moulds, decals, and per-design QC carry real setup cost. We’d rather quote you a real number than promise a low one we’d need to revise.

Specifications & standards

Road bike specifications & standards.

Wholesale road bikes we supply are built to the standards your market actually requires. For European retailers, that’s typically EN 14781 (racing bicycles) and EN 14764 (general-use). For the US, CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512. For Australia and New Zealand, AS/NZS 1927. We supply documentation for customs and for your own product file — important because importing road bikes without the right paperwork is a customs problem, not a wholesale problem.

On build: frame materials available are aluminium (6061-T6 and 7005-series) and carbon (T700 and T800 layups). Hydraulic disc brakes on all current road models — rim brake builds available on dedicated order only. Groupsets: Shimano (Tiagra, 105, Ultegra) and SRAM (Apex, Rival, Force), mechanical or electronic at the relevant tier. Frame size availability spans XS through XL (typically 49–61cm by C-T). Tire clearance on our gravel-capable models reaches 700×45c — wide enough for the customer who wants one bike for road and light off-road.

A note on what we don’t supply

We don’t currently produce e-road bikes, because battery shipping (UN 38.3 testing, lithium DG declarations) and country-by-country battery certification carry separate regulatory load we’d rather meet properly before launching that category. We don’t produce TT/triathlon bikes — they’re a low-volume niche that doesn’t suit the way independent retailers stock. We don’t produce kids road bikes — the size range and certification specifics differ from adult road bikes enough to warrant a separate product line.

We’d rather supply the bikes we do well than spread thin across categories we can’t.

Bikes ship differently than bottle cages

Three operational realities, named up front.

We don’t pretend bike wholesale is simple, because it isn’t. Here’s what a serious buyer should know before they spend time on a quote.

01

Freight

Road bikes are bulky and pallet-shipped, not parcel-shipped. International freight from [our origin] to your warehouse is quoted per shipment based on volume, destination, and Incoterms (typically EXW, FOB, or DDP). We'll give you a real freight number with your quote so you can calculate landed cost properly.

02

Damage in transit

Bikes are among the more damage-prone items in international freight. We pack individually with frame guards in standard bike cartons, palletised, with each carton barcoded. Every shipment is photographed before dispatch. If anything arrives damaged, we work with you on the claim with documentation we've already provided.

03

Assembly at your end

Bikes arrive [partially assembled — wheels on, handlebars turned, pedals off, brake lever bleeding pre-done]. Final setup needs a competent mechanic before retail. We supply assembly notes per model so your service department knows exactly what's pre-fitted and what's on them.

Common road bike wholesale questions

What buyers actually ask.

What certifications do your wholesale road bikes carry?

Road bikes we supply meet EN 14781 (racing bicycles) and EN 14764 (general-use) for the EU, CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512 for the US, and AS/NZS 1927 for AU/NZ. Conformity certificates and test reports are available on request — essential for customs clearance and for your own product file.

What's the MOQ on stock road bikes versus private label?

Stock road bikes (our existing model SKUs with no customization): from [25 units per model]. Private label (your brand on our chassis): from [100 units per model] — higher because frame moulds, decal artwork, and QC setup carry per-design cost.

What lead time should I plan for?

Stock road bikes: [10–14 weeks from order to delivery]. Private label: [3–4 weeks to first sample], then [12–16 weeks from sample approval]. Total private-label timeline is roughly 4–5 months from enquiry to delivery.

What's your packaging and how are bikes shipped?

Each bike ships in a standard road-bike carton (typically [165 × 30 × 90 cm]) with frame guards, wheels separated, and accessories bagged. Cartons are palletised at standard configurations (typically [8 or 12 bikes per pallet, mixed sizes]). Shipping is by sea freight (full container or LCL) or air for urgent orders — air is much faster but materially more expensive on bikes.

How is transit damage handled?

Every shipment is photographed before dispatch — you have proof of condition at origin. If a bike arrives damaged, document it at the time of receipt (photographs, courier signoff with note), and we work the claim with the freight company. Replacement frames or full units are dispatched on the next available shipment depending on extent.

What groupsets and brake systems do you use?

We supply with Shimano (Tiagra, 105, Ultegra) or SRAM (Apex, Rival, Force) at the relevant tier, mechanical or electronic. Brakes are hydraulic disc on all current road models — rim brake builds available on dedicated order only. Confirm groupset specifications in your quote.

Are e-bikes available?

Not currently. E-bike batteries carry separate regulatory load — UN 38.3 transport testing, lithium dangerous goods declarations, country-by-country battery certification, end-of-life recycling obligations — that we'd rather meet properly than half-meet. We'll launch e-road when our compliance file is complete.

What's the warranty on wholesale road bikes, and how do retailer claims work?

Frames: [5 years against manufacturing defects] for the original purchaser. Components: [warranty per manufacturer terms — typically 2 years on groupset, 1 year on wear items]. Retailer claims go through us with the original invoice and a photo/video of the defect; we approve and either ship a replacement or arrange a credit on next order.

Do you supply assembly instructions and service documentation?

Yes. Each bike ships with a generic build/service booklet plus a model-specific addendum covering: pre-fitted vs. final-assembly steps, torque specs, brake bleed procedure (if needed at final), and break-in service recommendation. Service documentation (frame geometry, cable routing, replacement part numbers) is in your account once approved.

Can I order test/sample units before committing to a wholesale run?

Yes — sample units are available at sample pricing (typically 1.5× lowest tier rate). Sample cost is credited back against your first wholesale order of that model. We strongly recommend sampling before any private-label run.
